Art$Pay has their Art Party back this Friday at 52 and 56 Regina St. N in Uptown Waterloo. Peer into the window space at 56 Regina St N. where all five of the Incubator artists are exhibiting their version of an Art Party. Right next door at 52 Regina St N, ArtsPay artists are participating in an eclectic juried show. Plus - DJ Raflar, Open Sesame Pop-Up (Enjoy ribfest! -Ed.). Fo' Cheezy, Abe Erb cash bar and more.
The Kitchener-Conestoga Rotary Club has their 48th Lobsterfest Party at Bingemans. Kick-off the summer with some fun and continue the tradition of enjoying all you can eat lobsters by Caudle’s Catch and delicious ribs from Dutchie's. It's a fun filled evening for friends, great food, lots of games and live music by Amplified Midlife Crisis; all in support of Kitchener Conestoga's International Aid projects focused on helping women and children in developing countries. Two Smiths Blacksmiths have a two-day workshop on blacksmithing. Learn a series of fundamental forging techniques that will enable you to produce two finished projects: a toasting fork and a spoon. (No swords? -Ed.) Workshop runs 9 to 5 on Saturday and Sunday.
