The Design Foundations students at Conestoga College are hosting a year-end design show SKILLZ MANIFESTO on Friday, April 6 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Waterloo Region Museum. Tickets are $10.00 at the door. The evening will include a display of 2D and 3D designs in a range of media, original prints for sale, and a raffle of paintings on canvas. Come out and see what Design Foundations is all about and support local emerging artists and designers.

Saturday, April 7 is the annual Elmira Maple Syrup Festival from 7 am to 4 pm. Eat some pancakes with delicious syrup, sample food from vendors down a half-mile stretch of downtown Elmira and then eat more pancakes.
If you want to work off those pancakes (and eat more pancakes), RunWaterloo's Pancake Mile starts at 9 am this Saturday, April 7 at the Elmore Maple Syrup Festival. Just one mile and four pancakes stand between you and the podium.
