Want to have your input heard on cycling and walking between the Iron Horse Trail and the future Transit Hub at Victoria St and King St? The Region has a public consultation session this Tuesday, June 6 from 5pm to 8pm. The consultation is taking place at The Tannery Event Centre (151 Charles St W, Kitchener).

World-class golf returns to Waterloo Region this week with the 2017 Manulife Classic. The tournament runs from June 7 to June 11 at Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge. Kids under 17 get in for free too!

Kitchener is kicking off patio season with the DTK Patio Crawl this Thursday, June 8 starting at 5pm. Grab a patio passport (not valid for international travel) at any of the participating patios and choose your own adventure. There'll be live music all around downtown - so get out there and enjoy. The ACTOne Play Festival 2017 runs from Thursday, June 8 to Saturday, June 10 at The Registry Theatre in Kitchener. Tickets are $20.

Friday's a full moon - so that means it's the Full Moon Wing Ding at Ethel's Lounge. 1 1/2 pounds of oven-baked wings after 4pm on Friday, June 9.

The full moon on Friday, June 9 also means it's time for the Berlin Bicycle Cafe's Full Moon Ride. Come join them on a fun, relaxed group ride to a special location. Make some friends, have some laughs, give high fives and enjoy the moonlight. This event is for all ages and abilities. The ride is going to end (somewhere) with a campfire! So bring your own meat and bevies. The cafe will be providing some with a $2 suggested donation.

Living Fresh Floral Studio, the City of Waterloo and Etsy Canada are putting on the 2nd annual Etsy Local Market this Saturday, June 10 from 10am to 5pm at RIM Park. More than fifty local vendors will be onsite.

The King StrEATery food truck festival returns this Saturday, June 10 from 3pm to 9pm. 17 food trucks, drink specials from your favourite downtown establishments and a make-your-own t-shirt station in Goudies Lane. Plus, live music in Carl Zehr Square.
