Thursday, October 29
The City of Kitchener has Halloween activities at every community centre (except Williamsburg, because that one actually is haunted) on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
ACB Network WR hosts Defund to Re-Allocate on Thursday at 5:30pm. The teach-in event is designed to people visualize what impacts re-allocation could be for Black, Indigenous, POC and other marginalized people.
Descendants Beer & Beverage has Halloween musical bingo at 8pm.

Friday, October 30
Pick up a pumpkin from Stone Crock or Block Three Brewing this week, carve it up, and bring it back on October 30 or 31 to help decorate their village. Every carved pumpkin is an entry for some great prizes.
Swine & Vine has their fondu kits back for pickup on October 30. Your kit includes Wellington Brewery beer & cheese fondue, lamb meatballs, crispy polenta, smoked cherry tomatoes, pickled pearl onions and house focaccia to dip - vegetarian option available.

Saturday, October 31
Short Finger Brewing has a family-friendy Halloween day. Physically-distanced trick or treating during their regular taproom hours (noon-7pm). There’s candy for small humans in costumes and physically-distanced guided flights of some cellar pours. Details on their site.
Check out the DTK Halloween Art Walk from 1 to 5pm. Get your costume ready and explore over 48 art installations across Downtown Kitchener — all outside and at your own pace. Pick up a printed Art Walk Map at their tiny “haunted house”, enjoy a sweet Halloween treat (while supplies last) and a DTK scavenger hunt to follow throughout the afternoon. This is a family friendly event.
Uptown Waterloo invites you to come trick-or-treating and enjoy a safe, fun Halloween while exploring the businesses of Uptown Waterloo. Businesses will be following Public Health precautions, including wearing gloves and using tongs to hand out candy. Social distancing regulations must be followed.
Wear your mask, stay apart, and enjoy some spooky good times at Jane Bond with DJ Good Dr. starting at 8pm.
