Head over to The Gaslight District for a free double-feature outdoor screening of School of Rock and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, two iconic films that will take you on a journey through the highs and lows of teenage rebellion and rock ‘n’ roll dreams.

CivicWR will be showcasing the projects they’ve been working on over the past 12 weeks. Come meet the members of CivicTechWR and see what projects are underway to make KW a better place to live! 6 to 8 pm at Builders Club (165 King St W).

Dawson City Yukon writer Lulu Keating will read from her acclaimed short story collection, Splinter & Shard on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 7 pm at Midnight Run Cafe in Uptown Waterloo.

Experience the vibrant sounds of local talent and delicious tastes of local food at Music at the Market on Thursdays in September! On Sept. 5, enjoy the heartfelt performances of Marshall Veroni and Riley Michaels.

KPL in partnership with ACCKWA, Sanguen Health Centre, Waterloo Region Drug Action Team (WR DAT) and others invite you to join them for a screening of the short film 'Haven' followed by a panel discussion about the health intervention known as safer supply at 6:30 pm.

The Pawtember First Responders Dance Challenge is a heartwarming event where local first responders showcase their dance moves to support a great cause. Police, Fire, and Paramedic teams will dance alongside a local dance team to raise money for Partners with Paws, a local organization that trains psychiatric service dogs. 

Celebrate the remarkable journey of the monarch butterfly at the Monarch Tagging Weekend, hosted by the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory.
