This year marks the 35th anniversary of the tragic day when 14 promising young women were separated from their male colleagues at the École Polytechnique de Montréal and killed by a man with a semi-automatic weapon. It has been named a National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. Take a moment at this year's December 6 Vigil to reflect and honour the 14 young women who lost their lives that day. The vigil takes place on December 6 at 5:30 pm at St. Columba Anglican Church, 250 Lincoln Rd., Waterloo, hosted by the CFUW K-W.
