Tuesday, November 25

Seven whimsical artist-created mistletoes, seven municipalities, and endless festive photo-ops are waiting to be discovered on 2025 Mistletoe Trail. Each mistletoe has a unique story (unlocked by QR code), plus local businesses are offering mistletoe-inspired treats, experiences, and surprises along the way.

Now that the U.S. is turning inward, what will the new superpower — China — do about it? Scholar and author Blaine Chiasson speculates on the future before a Third Age Learning Kitchener-Waterloo audience. 1:30 p.m. at RIM Park.

Sounds of Christmas returns this holiday season for its eleventh year of Christmas-themed music, from traditional favourites to country and gospel. You’ll enjoy harmony singing, lively instrumentals, and a mix of dance performances. Proceeds from the event support KidsAbility. 

In this month's KPL astronomy talk, Mike Hudson will give a whirlwind tour of gravitational lensing’s “greatest hits” showing how it can be used as a tool to understand some of the most mysterious things in the Universe. 7 pm at KPL's central libray.

The UW Music Jazz Ensemble presents Autumn Breeze at 2 pm at Conrad Grebel University. The Coalition of Muslim Women's Radiant Ladies Night Gala is a ladies-only fundraiser dinner that brings diverse music and cuisine to a diverse audience. All women are invited to attend!
