Ways to support local.

Our friends at Toasty Toes WR need your support to help people in our community. Originally started as a way to gather socks for those in needs, Toasty Toes is now a way to raise funds to support multiple organizations as a Waterloo Region Community Foundation fund. Last year, your donations helped: A Better Tent City, Cambridge Shelter Corporation, Family & Children’s Services Foundation of Waterloo Region, House of Friendship, oneROOF, Sanguen Health Centre, Reception House Waterloo Region, Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region, The Healing of the Seven Generations, The Salvation Army Church, The Working Centre, Wilmot Family Resource Centre, Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region, and YW Kitchener Waterloo.

If you can, visit their site to learn how you can help.

Speaking of Toasty Toes, the team at Chocolate Soup in Waterloo are selling holiday socks in a ball to raise money for Toasty Toes. Each pair is $12.00 and they donate the full purchase price to the Toasty Toes WR fund.
