Communitech is launching not one, but two new peer groups this week, and your journey starts at the Hub. First up on Tuesday is the Marketing Peer Group convening from 9 to 10:30 am. If you possess what is required to see what the next new peer group is, scroll down to Wednesday and prepare for a different kind of encounter.
The Excavator Arts Collective is running Goodlines, an inclusive and low-pressure sketching and art group. Bring your sketchbook, whatever you're currently working on, or try out some semi-structured activities and exercises. This week's theme is "Still Life Lazy Susan"; explore drawing a still life scene from multiple perspectives. Snacks and supplies provided, or bring your own! 5:30pm at the Waterloo Visitor Information Centre (10 Father David Bauer Dr).
HOPE is hosting Creating Safer Spaces: Practical Allyship for 2SLGBTQIA+ Inclusion from 6:30 - 8:30 pm in Elmira. Learn practical, everyday ways to create safer, more affirming spaces for the Rainbow community, through meaningful allyship and ongoing learning.
Efthimios Nasioplous headlines a very special episode of Rusty Nail Comedy at Arabella Park Beer Bar with the awesome Tobi Solebo opening the show. The UWaterloo Noon Hour Concert is Wondrous Winds at 12 in the Conrad Grebel Chapel. The KW Woodwind Quintet will perform pieces by French composers from the late 19th and early 20th Century, and all of them are connected to the Conservatoire de Paris either as teachers or students.

Mohit Cheppudira (formerly of OpenAI and Google) and Steven Woods (partner and CTO at Inovia Capital and co-winner of the 1995 OUA Len Shore Trophy for top individual performance in golf) will be talking with Communitech's Carrie MacGillivray about how the gap between AI's potential and reality is shrinking and what it means for teams building with AI right now.
