Keep their social media team in your thoughts this week as they'll probably be having a rough week.

What to do.

Celebrate International Women's Day with Hive Waterloo Region. Join them at the Kitchener Public Library Central Branch (85 Queen St N, Kitchener) on Wednesday, March 8 at 6pm for a talk on ways to increase diversity in engineering and technology. Later in the week, NextGenWR has a pop-up International Women's Day event titled "Nevertheless, She Persisted: An International Women's Day Event" at the Kitchener Public Library on Saturday, March 11 from noon till 3.

Neruda Arts presents Nano Stern and his band at The Jazz Room, in the Huether Hotel (59 King St N, Waterloo) this Thursday, March 9 at 8pm.

Tri-City Roller Derby is throwing a Mac and Cheese cook-off fundraiser this Friday, March 10 from 7-10 at Chainsaw (28 King St S, Waterloo). There will be twenty different types of mac and cheese to try - just watch out for people throwing elbows in line.

Your KW Titans have two games at the Aud this weekend. Saturday, March 11 against the Orangeville A's and Sunday, March 12 against the Niagara River Lions. Tickets are $21 for adults, $17 for kids under 13.

THEMUSEUM has two new exhibits opening this week. Cause for Celebration? First Things First presents the work of three contemporary Indigenous artists and one new Canadian artist who deal with issues of past and present, healing and justice, hope, and vision.

It's not American Horror Story: Freakshow, but Step Right Up! The Travelling Carnival in Canada lets you experience 150 years of the travelling carnival in Canada. I still haven't gotten over the freakshows from the South Florida Fair 30 years ago, so I might just stay on the second floor and play with the boats.

Settlement Co.'s four week coffee crash course starts this Saturday, March 11. Check out this link for more info.

The Irish Real Life Festival kicks off this Saturday, March 11 and runs through March 18. I'm completely biased, but I think a week of celebrating all things Irish is the best thing ever. Check out their schedule of events - there's something for everyone.
